starting this thing

Yeh I thought i would start a blog coz a writer it necessary to express myself in prose and therefore its necessary that people understand wher eI am coming from and going to. maybe this can be that and i can inspire others to live their dream and not get held back by society's expectations.
I suppose I am ill at the moment and so I feel constrained to the home and soon I will be off again so I can't say this will necessarily be a very regular thing but try i will and hopefully it will replace the dying group email taht has lost its excitement and intensity of late.
Been a hard-working year and started 2007 with an inspiring two month travel of Morocco which was so cool and
gave me a new perspective of the next continent to conquer - Africa...
It was a time of continual self-discovery, and an attempt to break through cultural boundaries and form relationships with a people in a socio-cultural situation so far removed from mine.
Closer examination revealed that they were not so far from the European model.

They were all trying to break free of a traditional religion that had held the country together for years (Islam) to drift towards sentimentality and a feelings-orientated existence centred around the principles of post-modernism with Nietzsche's claim that truth is "a mobile army of metaphors".
Yes, I have been reading these topics and a rather interesting tho intense catalogue of worldviews. I surfed less than I planned to but explored more than I expected. But there were still big days the above photo showing just how much swell this place gets in winter. This is El Jardin at Safi point, near the port, one of the many spots frequented on my trusty Renault Clio I drove around the country.
